I had to continue with yesterday's post to further explain.....
Once the deity of Jesus was decided, Helena, Constantine’s mother, went to Jerusalem to locate all the places where Jesus supposedly walked; where he was born, the last supper, the cave where he was buried and supposedly rose again, and the place where he hung on the cross. (The last supper picture by Leonardo DaVinci shows a passover meal and it is shown incorrectly.)
Helena, who was a pagan, had converted to christianity. She didn’t know anything about where Jesus went, yet pointed out these places and to this day that’s where the points of interest are for the Christian.  She had no other authority, just divination. The catholic church began the crusades to get everyone to believe in Jesus. Through their ‘love program’ people were slaughtered if they didn’t confess Jesus. The dark ages are filled with stories of how the crusaders invaded place after place and killed anyone, especially the Jewish people, if they did not confess Jesus. Some people pretended to confess Christianity and continued in their own spiritual path. If caught, they were killed. Over time, memories faded and the church won. The truth was buried and anyone that doubted the church was told they were going to hell.  Now, over two thousand years later, it is very difficult for a Christian to leave the church because they are told that if they reject Jesus they reject eternal life. This is brainwashing at its best!
