As a Noahide, I sometimes struggle with the world around me. The Jews are commanded to study Torah and fulfill the mitzvos (or the 613 negative and positive commandments). Noahides have 7 commandments which are all stated in Genesis after the flooding subsided. In the world around me are many christians, churches, and people that wonder why I don't go to church. Which does give me an opportunity to share the truth about God. However, most christians are not open to hearing that God is One and there is no One else besides Him. With the church another god was inserted. The church has succeeded in brainwashing the masses that He is a part of a three in one. This is a struggle that most Noahides will have to deal with until the Messiah arrives. In my particular community there is only one other individual that believes the same as I do (besides my husband). We get together every now and then and talk about Judaism, God, Torah, and personal learning. We ask God to help increase our emuna every day.
My experience in the church (which I haven't attended since 2003) has been enlightening. I've seen people there that only attend because it's expected. Other's seem to be watchdogs. They look to see who isn't there so they can quiz those individuals about why they didn't make it to church. Some of them truly want to worship. And then there are those that attend to be seen, but then live like the devil the rest of the week. It is very freeing to not be tied up into the church thing, but to worship Our Creator daily.
